Almost 15 years ago we were working on plans for the InHolland University to have a new building on top of the roof of the old Ringers Chocolate Factory in Alkmaar. The biggest innovations were the exploded core (no corridors) and the six open stairs configuration (no enclosed escape stairs. A specialty of us, together with Peter van de Leur).
